Hampton's Baptisim

June 20, 2010 was a special day for Hampton and our family. Not only was it David's first Father's Day, Hampton was baptized at Galloway United Methodist Church. He did so good! His eyes perked up when they poured the water on his head, but he didn't make a peep! He wore the same gown that my sister and I wore when we were baptized. Hampton Can "Talk"

So Hampton has learned he has a "voice". He "talks" all the time now and it cracks us up. I'm sure the day will come VERY soon when we will be ready for him to turn these sounds into words! The screams, oohs and ahhs could get very old!

We have had lots of fun introducing Hampton to the water. He LOVES it!! I guess it would be kind of relaxing sitting in someone's arms dipped in the water or floating in a covered raft on a hot summer day! What a life! Too bad we can't remember when we are four months old. But I'm glad I have discovered this "activity" to save us from some of those "fussy" momments...we might be up at the pool a lot more than we thought!

Little Photo Shoot

I love having a "subject" to take pictures of whenever I get bored! Poor Hampton is such a good sport to let his Mommy change him in different outfits and take pictures of him in different places! I'm starting to figure out little tips and tricks on my new "mommy camera" and it's so much fun when you get a few good ones! We had a recent photo shoot in Oxford...
